Kyrenia Ship

It is a merchantman that was drifting throughout the Aegean and was going as far as Kyrenia in Cyprus. However, the boat sank three miles outside the port when it left with its merchandise. It was submerged for two thousand years until in 1955 it was discovered by Andreas Kariolou across from the coast of Chrysokava. Today, the best preserved ancient shipwreck in the world (70% saved), is located in the museum of the occupied Castle of Kyrenia.
