Saint Xenia Simple Series

Holy Xenia was born in Kalamata, Peloponnese, in 291 A.D. to a family of devout Christians. When the pagan prefect of Kalamata Dometian wanted to marry her, Xenia strongly refused to become a pagan wife. Then the lord tortured her horribly and eventually the Saint was martyred by decapitation. After her death the Saint - by the grace of God - performed many miracles. She is celebrated on May 3rd.
