Saint Loukas

St. Luke, Archbishop of Syferopol and Crimea, also referred to as St. Luke the Doctor, who was holy enlisted in May 1996 by the Russian Orthodox Church, was a Russian high priest and professor-surgeon. From 1922 until his last breath he experienced arrests, torture, exiles and hardships. He was imprisoned and exiled for a total of eleven years.
