Saint Kyriakos

Saint Kyriakos came from Corinth. From a very young age he followed the ascetic way of life by going first to Jerusalem and then to Lavra of the Great Efthimios. He was characterized by his meekness and the constant cultivation of his virtues. At the age of 40 he became an elder and died at the age of 107. He became an example to be emulated for his ascetic life and for the meekness that possessed him. It is honored and celebrated on September 29th.
