Ovis orientalis of Cyprus
It is a species of wild sheep and belongs to the Capricorn family. It is considered one of the two ancestors of all domesticated sheep today. The origin of the wild is Southwest Asia, where there is the Asian wild. They were introduced to the islands of Corsica, Sardinia, Rhodes and Cyprus during the Neolithic era, probably as domesticated animals, where they acclimatized in the last few thousand years in the mountainous hinterland of these islands.Specifations | |
