Saint Kyprianos And Saint Justini

Saint Kyprianos came from a pagan family and was by extension a pagan himself. His love for Christian Justa turned him towards Christianity to the point where he was elected bishop of Carthage. During his life he fought with his action and his work the sects of the time, was considered the greatest writer of the ancient church and ordained Justa, now called Justina, as a deacon. Kyprianos and Justina were beheaded by Emperor Dekios and their memory is commemorated on October 2nd.
